In our PV plant area, it is common the appearance of small rodents that can damage the electrical wires. In addition, scorpions and snakes have been spotted in the area, which creates a hazardous environment for our personnel if proper measures are not in place.
We have started a grass-cutting campaign that allows the personnel to work safer on the site and reduce/prevent animals from appearing. This reduces fire hazards, and drives and increases the visibility of small animals and, thus, reducing the associated hazards.

A group of 25 young people from different associations in Namibe province visited the Caraculo PV plant. During their visit, they gained an understanding of the plant’s operations and the positive impact it has on the energy sector of Angola, particularly in the southern region.
The National Youth Council is a non-partisan platform consisting of 51 member youth organizations and 150 partners, including philanthropic, political, student, sports, and cultural organizations of national scope. It has its own non-profit legal personality.
